Raccoon on a Tree

Sunday morning in the mountains greeted me with hail and strong wind.

Hail was dry and tolerable.

I was heading back to my car when I saw a young raccoon siting on a tree.

He was high up and it took time to find a better angle to take pictures.

I have never seen before a raccoon hiding in a tree.

  1. Exceptional photography, Kaya.

The sizes and the colors of the leaves blend in a perfect and a contrasting fashion with the "little critter," who appears to be as interested in you as you are in him. Raccoons are adorable when young, but troublesome when fully grown.

the beautiful autumn hue - in opposition to the raccoon fur.
