Spotted Towhee

First time I saw Spotted Towhee two weeks ago in our park.

He was at the feeder with Chickadees and Juncos.

At the beginning he was hiding in the branches of the trees

but later became more relaxed letting me take his pictures.

Beautiful bird!

sharing with Wild Bird Wednesday.

  2. Spotted Towhee is indeed a beautiful bird and you have captured it well. I am always impressed with your pictures, Kaya. Somehow you always manage to portray the essence of the bird and they seem fluid almost.

  3. His eyes make him look sort of grouchy .... I often think that when I look in a mirror ....

Sort of teasing, Kaya .... the photographs are perfect and I very much like them ....

  8. La belleza natural de estos pájaros se ve realzada por el cuidado encuadre de tus fotografías, el contraste de su colorido plumaje sobre la nieve blanca y la nitidez con la que has captado esa mirada tan curiosa.
    Un abrazo,
