Nice landing and nice photography, Kaya. I think the first is the better of the two in an overall sense, but the "central character" is detailed better in the second shot.
Yes, birds are beginning to flock as autumn approaches ....
wow wow , beautiful and beautiful!! The birds that will begin to visit in the fall through winter are some seagulls and hopefully some different ducks than we get in the summer however, our dam is being retrofitted and rehabed and they have had to lower the lake so even our american coots have taken off and gone elsewhere. We may end up with no birds.
