Northern Shovelers

Yesterday I went to Antelope Island hoping to find a colony of Burrowing Owls. I didn’t find them. I walked on the field looking for burrows where owls supposed to be, but there weren’t any owls.
Well, instead of owls I photographed Northern Shovelers. They were far away but somehow I managed to get down to the shore and got a few pictures of these beautiful birds.

  3. Fabulous series, Kaya. Sorry not to have checked in for a while. I am in Costa Rica at present, but will be returning home on Thursday, when I should get right back into my regular routine.
