Killdeer
This is my third time taking pictures of a bird from my car.
What amazes me that birds don't perceive a car as a threat.
They are absolutely oblivious to your car and you.
Killdeer was so calm, so relaxed letting me take as many pictures as I wanted.
The difficult part was to find later what kind of bird it was.
I found Killdeer in the category "the shore birds"
and learned that they are migratory birds.
A true visual jewel.

A car is a very effective blind, Kaya, and birds will usually "cooperate" as long as you stay in the vehicle. Excellent shots of the Killdeer - as always you set a very high standard.

I often see killdeer running up and down shorelines and hear their call, Kaya. I like the sounds they make, and I like your photographs .... super photography, once again ....
ReplyDeleteIt surprises me that a car is a good trick to take pictures of birds, I didn't know they are confident with cars.

Dos fotografías perfectas en las que el ave ha posado para ti con toda tranquilidad. el enfoque del ave es perfecto, como igualmente lo es el desenfoque del fondo para hacer resaltar aún más.
