Cedar Waxwing at Causey Reservoir

In September, I photographed a small flock of strikingly beautiful Cedar Waxwings at Causey Reservoir. These special birds were irresistibly drawn to the clusters of ripe, dark wild blackberries.

Causey Reservoir in October

Causey Reservoir has been and always will be is my escape from reality, a place that feels like another planet.

The Wasatch Mountains rise, the air is crisp, a gentle breeze whispers through the pine trees and the only sounds are the calls of birds or the soft ripples of water.

Generally, life is good.
