In the Wasatch Mountains. One Brave Daisy

A wrong turn on an unknown Huntsville road led to an incredible hike through Middle Fork Wildlife Area.

Right at the trailhead, as the path began its climb into the mountains, I caught sight of a cluster of wild daisies. Only one brave blossom had fully opened to the sun; the rest were quietly waiting for their turn to bloom.

 Generally, life is good.

In the Wasatch Mountains

The mountain aspens in winter can be mesmerizing. Without the leaves, you can really appreciate the intricate patterns of branches, twigs, and the way they spread out.

It almost feels like they’re showing off their naked beauty!
