Familiar Streets - I.

Suburban old houses always attracted me. They are resilient and go through storms with quite a dignity. This one is no exception.

Generally, life is good.

Notes to Self -XXVIII. Saturday in Snow Basin

This morning I thought it would be nice to get to Snow Basin.  I wasn't going to drive to ski resort, just to drive as high as I could and enjoy the snowy mountains, the sleepy trees and silence.

At some point walking along the road I looked down and saw the dancing trees with long shadows.  I found them interesting.

Returning back from Snow Basin I decided to drive west and explore the Pine View reservoir and see what I will find there.

I watched there for a while ice fishing on the frozen reservoir. People brought with themselves tents, chairs, they cut holes in the ice and were sitting and waiting for fish. It's kind of sport in now days.

I wasn't excited about this sport but what really interested me was a small cemetery with century-old trees that was next to reservoir.  This cemetery turned out to be a mecca for wintering birds like sparrows and Mourning Doves.
