Hey Guys, Where Are You Going

I always photograph Mallard ducks when I am at the Beau pond but very rare when they are in action.  It's extremely difficult to photograph ducks in flight; they beat their wings fast and they are small.

Here are three male ducks and one female are taking off and heading South .  They are a little bit awkward, funny and wonderful.

  1. They go where their wings carry - the freedom of the wild.

  3. Como más me gustan , es en pleno vuelo. Se ve que es como ellos disfrutan más.

  4. I recall two stories about mallards with orange legs and feet. One is that they are far north ducks, who spend their summers above the Arctic Circle; the other is that they are mostly corn-fed ducks, as opposed to eating the natural foods of Nature. I suppose both stories could be true, or neither.

Ducks, to me, are the most beautiful of birds, and your photographs display their beauty wonderfully, Kaya ....
