I always photograph Mallard ducks when I am at the Beau pond but very rare when they are in action. It's extremely difficult to photograph ducks in flight; they beat their wings fast and they are small.
Here are three male ducks and one female are taking off and heading South . They are a little bit awkward, funny and wonderful.
The leader and his followers.
They go where their wings carry - the freedom of the wild.
ReplyDeleteSerán difíciles de fotografiar par a ti te han quedado unas fotos estupendas.
ReplyDeleteQue pases unas felices fiestas.
Un abrazo.
Como más me gustan , es en pleno vuelo. Se ve que es como ellos disfrutan más.
ReplyDeleteBesos
I recall two stories about mallards with orange legs and feet. One is that they are far north ducks, who spend their summers above the Arctic Circle; the other is that they are mostly corn-fed ducks, as opposed to eating the natural foods of Nature. I suppose both stories could be true, or neither.
