Black-necked Stilts at the Great Salt Lake

Yesterday I walked to the Great Salt Lake on the soft salty ground trying to be careful not to get into muddy spots. Luckily, there were not many of them.

There were many Black-necked Stilts there but they were far away and I decided to sit on the soft salty ground and wait when the Stilts will come closer to the shore.  While waiting for birds to come closer I thought about the salty desert and how it's very hard to love it.

  2. Your photo is full of charm, very beautiful !. This scene of birds landing in the Great Salt Lake, if printed in large sizes for display in the living room, will definitely be even more alluring.

  5. Bella fotografía. Los zancos parecen que están jugando sobre la superficie del agua salada. Realmente lo que debe ser difícil no es amar el desierto salado sino vivirlo y sufrirlo.
    Un abrazo y cuidate.
