Not a Humming Bird

When I saw this creature I thought that it might be a Hummingbird but it was actually an insect... a moth.  This Humming Moth was sampling a nectar from the wild sunflowers at the Bear River. The Moth was as small as Humming bird and beat her wings as fast as the Humming birds but the Humming birds have two feet and the Humming Moth six.

It's difficult to approach the Humming birds, they are very skittish.  But a Humming Moth is fearless and can tolerate your presence as long as you keep an appropriate distance.

Generally,  life is good!
