That autumn morning the river was a rare emerald color with golden ripples and it seemed that an American Avocet was swimming on a mirror surface in a golden light unaware that in a few minutes he will be illuminated by the sun and his plumage would turn white.
The Bear River is very fickle and has many faces. In a storm it's threatening dark blue, in winter it's steel, in autumn it has many shades of green and gold and on rainy days the Bear River becomes sullenly gray.
Generally, life is good!
Connections are re-established, nature knows how to offer its wonders and Kaya knows how to capture and share them.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Reflection creates the game of a parallel world.
Hello Kaya,
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. Nice to see this very special bird.
Wonderful with the warm colors and a nice reflection in the water.
Greetings, Marco
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
these are beautiful. I love winter's light on our lake - just about sunset before the sun's angle is over the mountains - is the best. second best is autumn's light.
ReplyDeleteBuon inizio settimana.
