The sun was rising over the mountains when I spotted Avocets that were viciously fighting. I don't know what caused this fight. My guess is there wasn't enough of food and it made birds aggressive and territorial.
The Avocet on the photo above was trying to escape a fight running away on water.
Photographing Avocets' fight was a challenge. It was still dark when I started to take pictures and I couldn't get a proper shutter speed until I blasted ISO.
The fights were short and messy and lasted only a few seconds but overall I had a great time practicing to take photos in low light.
Generally, life is good!
