Yesterday in our local park I encountered a delicate small bird with a long tail that I have never met before. Later I will learn that I have met a Brown Creeper and another interesting thing: in Europe there are identical birds Eurasian Treecreepers.
The Brown Creeper above was looking for small insects in a tree and moved so quickly, in short jerky movements. It lasted for several seconds until the Creeper disappeared.
Generally, life is good.
Is it known for nesting under a piece of bark, like its two European cousins?
ReplyDeleteYes, they nest under a piece of bark, like their European cousins. It's a very unique nesting strategy :)
Delete👍 unique is not a lot. Merci
DeleteHello Kaya,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful bird. So fantastic toi see this kind.
Very special and great how you have photograph.
Many greetings,
Marco
Preciosa imagen.
A hug.
