Two days ago, for the first time I was able to take a few photos of Bald Eagle from the very first moment he was preparing to leave his perch until the last moment he took off.
What struck me most was thoughtful and unhurried preparation for takeoff. First, was made a decision to leave a perch, then the eagle began to slowly turn in the direction of flight. That morning was windless, so I find it difficult to say why he chose to fly to the west for which I am immensely grateful to him.
The take-off position is chosen.
The eagle bends his legs and lowers his body that is tense and directed forward. In a few seconds the raptor will be in the air.
The Eagle takes off keeping his wings down and flying low. Soon the raptor will disappear from my sight just in a few seconds.
Generally, life is good.

Hello Kaya,
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing. What a giant is this eagle.
A wonderful bird and great how you have photograph him at the start of his flight.
Many greetings,
Marco
