Juvenile Bold Eagle. Not the Best Encounter But...

Today I saw two Juvenile Bold Eagles on the field where I was never before. They were perching on the dead tree and were far far away. Walking on the open field wasn't the best idea but I walked anyway and probably was watched carefully by Eagles.

One Eagle left the tree very quickly, another stayed for a few minutes there before he flew away.

On this photo the Eagle's face didn't come out sharp but the feathers are OK. Unfortunately, it happens so often.

Walking on the open field is not the way you approach Eagles. I am aware of it. But you do what you can and with what you have.

Meanwhile, I am going to check the dead tree every time I am passing by this field and look for Eagles. I hope that they will stay for a while at this spot before they will migrate to their breeding grounds.

  6. Tres instantáneas excelentes de ese águila juvenil. La segunda tiene un gran interés por esa posición tan característica de las patas del ave a la hora de aterrizar o de capturar una presa.
