Marsh Wren Greets Sunrise with One Of His Songs

Marsh Wren is a tiny bird, smaller than a sparrow.  It's a secretive bird that often remains well hidden.

That morning this Wren was  singing one of his 150 songs. Yes, Marsh Wrens have 150 songs and they all are different. The song he performed during sunrise sounded like a sewing machine.

For a few seconds the Wren was quiet.

Marsh Wrens usually hold their tails in upright position.

I hope that I will have another opportunity to watch this incredible bird and photograph it.

  5. It's sometimes the smallest and most nondescript birds that have the best songs. Beautiful captures!
