This time of year there are many juvenile American White Pelicans at Bear River . They are strong but not yet mature, full of energy and very playful.
To say that Pelicans are my favorite birds is to say nothing. I think of them as my friends whom I meet every summer and blessed to photograph.
Pelicans have their own group world. They are very expressive if they can be looked at closely.
