Once in while the Western Grebes take a break from feeding babies. During break they usually preen themself or bathe. This happy father did some bathing after emerging from the water. At the beginning he straightened up and spread his wings wide.
Then he shook vigorously the whole body splashing water all over.
And then he jumped, just a little bit and the bathing was over.
Generally, life is good!
