Notes to Self. A Quiet Corner of Pineview

The lake offers no promises, only quiet moments where patience becomes its own reward.

I find myself returning to the unique stretch of water I discovered last week. It has quickly become my favorite place to escape, full of fishermen and wildlife.

It’s a haven for American White Pelicans, Great Blue Herons, and other birds.

As I watch the fishermen prepare their boats, I often wish I were out there with them, if only to get a closer look at the pelicans.  Remarkably, the birds have grown so used to the fishermen that they treat them with a calm indifference, accepting them as part of the environment.

I’ve completely fallen in love with this quiet corner of Pineview Reservoir.

Generally, life is good.

  1. Ese sombrero luminoso marca la diferencia, y la caña de pescar nos conduce hacia el interior del lago. Qué sencillamente se pueden conseguir imágenes de ensueño.
    Un fuerte abrazo, Kaya.
