Your wait has been so worthwhile, Kaya. Your pictures of the bird in flight are impressive and the background of gold is warm and wonderful. Well done.
The first photograph is the better of the pair for a variety of reasons from my point of view, Kaya, although I like the grasses in the second shot better as a background. With the right lighting and the right wind, I think they could be the basis for their own photograph .... but, capturing a great blue heron in flight is quite a feat and must please you immensely. Congratulations ....
