Being Nasty - II.

I spent almost one hour watching American Avocets and photographing their fights.  Nice peaceful Avocets that morning turned into aggressive creatures who were chasing and attacking each other.  Their fight was vicious and made me wonder what I really know about these birds.

At the beginning I thought that Avocets were fighting over food but over time  I became more and more inclined to think that it was about dominance and gaining attention.

Generally, life is good!
