Ring-Billed Gulls at Bear River MBR in January

Every time I see gulls at Bear River MBR or Great Salt Lake I stop and watch these birds for a while and always take a few photos of them.

Thus, at the beginning of this month I came across a group of Bill-ringed Gulls at the Bear River and stayed with them for a long time watching them in flight and how they tried to steal fish from Goldeneyes.

On January 2020 I was able to watch and photograph Herring Gulls on a foggy morning at Bear River.  They were flying, fighting, feeding and preening and were pretty surreal in a dense fog.

Generally, life is good!
