The dead tree is still there—it still endures.

Yesterday, I asked myself if I was ready for this kind of photography: dead trees, scorched grass by the summer heat and scattered dry branches. My answer was: I am ready, because I am increasingly drawn to finding beauty in things that do not require attention and often go unnoticed.

I am greatly influenced by the American photographer Robert Adams. Looking at his photographs I feel like he is saying: " Pay attention. We live here."
Generally, life is good.
