Early Morning Breakfast

In June 2019 I photographed a lot of Snowy egrets.  There were numerous of them in the refuge at Bear river fishing alongside with White-faced ibises and Great Blue herons.

This egret is eating his breakfast.  He swallows it almost immediately after catching.

  1. Love these photo! Do you or have you gotten snow where you are?
And if so, are you able to still get out and photograph at the river area you go to.

    1. Sandy, we are having snow on and off but not a lot and it's getting more difficult to get to the river.

  2. A pesar de la rapide que tiene, tragando la comida, tu has sido más rápida y has podido captar el alimento entre el pico, antes de que se lo tragara.

    Son unas magníficas fotos.

  6. The birds are easy to notice, thanks to the clarity of the background color and are the registered trademark Kaya.

  7. It is a curious and a cruel world (to say the least) we live in that life must be taken to sustain other life. To quote from a poem by Ernest Hemingway:

    "What can I do
    "To set things right?"

Not much, would seem to be the answer, when Nature is the primary factor of the equation. In the meanwhile, your photography continues to be impressive, Kaya. Excellent work ....
