A fly-by from Male Mallard on a freezing cold morning.
***
We are having a snow storm that started yesterday and will last today until late at night. I would like to complain but can't, because we need water in the summer.
The irony of ironies, that during yesterday and today I dropped all shoulds and haves and allowed myself to be lazy. What have I done? Not so much. I was reading a lot, surfed the Internet looking for dogs to adapt and edited my photos.
Life goes on.
ReplyDeleteBesos.
sounds like a good day actually... Did you find a dog? We are at the beginning of a huge snow storm coming in with what they say will be 80 mile an hour winds and snow can go down to 1500 feet. We are close to 5000 and i imagine Big Bear will get a lot more snow than they want. We had a small amount but icy on the roads today. Already a car on our road tried to go up farther and started to slide back down. They actually tried it with no chains when everything is saying you need chains. They had to back down to a level area.
ReplyDeleteSandy, it looks like you are having a huge snow storm. Compare to yours our snow storm doesn't seem so threatening anymore. Hopefully, our snow storms will soon subside. I didn't find yet a dog in our local shelter. There are mostly pit bulls there.
ReplyDeleteWith those cute little curly feathers on the rump ... Merci
ReplyDeleteA flight full of elegance.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
