Sometimes Black-crowned Herons surprise me with their unpredictability like the Heron above.
One dewy morning, this heron surprised me by choosing a rather open place near the river for hunting.
From my observation, Herons are taking their time to decide what to do next.
Should I go down into the swamp and get lost in the dense thickets? Or fly away?
The heron chose to take off, otherwise it would have gotten lost in the thickets and I would never have seen it again.
Another lucky moment that morning was that I managed to take the Heron's one in-flight shot, which came out surprisingly sharp.
Life goes on.
slowly but surely
ReplyDeleteBellas imágenes. Da la sensación que la garza anda cautelosa como si presintiera algún peligro. Quizá por eso salió volando.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
It seems that he does not want to disturb the dew drops. Idyllic setting.
ReplyDeleteBien captada la garza en su entorno, Kaya y nos la presentas en distintas poses.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
Замечательные портреты...
