Orb-weaver.
I spent almost half an hour observing this spider, and during that time, I witnessed for the first time how it drags prey into its web.
The spider was very active, often darting along the web, forcing me to move around quite often too.
Orb-weavers are accustomed to string dead prey and debris into the center of their webs to camouflage themselves.
What surprised me was that the Orb-weaver spider had a such fascinating camouflage strategy called "eye and face imitation".
But was it more aimed at creating a visual distraction or blending into debris? It's hard to say.

I photographed this Orb-weaver in Snowbasin, Wasatch Mountains.
Generally, life is good.

Surely observing nature always surprises us!!

Increíbles estas arañas en su modo de trabajar para no ser vistas con facilidad y así poder capturar a sus presas. Las fotos son una maravilla.
