Growing by leaps and bounds, the young Ospreys frequently exercise their large, strong wings.
They can’t fly yet—though their father will soon teach them to fly and hunt—but they can lift off for a few seconds to move around the nest.
After a high leap, a young osprey joined its siblings, spreading its mighty wings to show itself off to the world in all its glory.
Generally, life is good.
The distance between us seems so much shorter that you feel like part of the family.

Maravillosa la visión de las alas desplegadas en toda su extensión. Parece un simulacro de preparación para cuando llegue su momento de volar. Y la segunda foto, toda una lección de encuadre.

Todas las aves, antes de abandonar el nido, pasan mucho tiempo ejercitando las alas para coger fuerza y potencia. Una caída del nido sin tener unas fuertes alas puede ser una tragedia. Hermosa serie.
