Squirrel



What a place a squirrel chose to enjoy her cone!  But probably it is safe.


In a few seconds she would put a cone in a dent on the branch. Will she remember where she hid it?  Sometimes squirrels forget where they hide their food.




A hunt for cones continues.

    Creo que es una suerte poder fotografiar tan simpático animal. En una ocasión en el parque del Retiro de madrid, traté de fotografiar uno y me fue imposible. No paraba de saltar de un árbol a otro.

    You would think the squirrel would be wary about being so exposed. It seems awfully vulnerable to being picked off by a hawk.

    beautiful photos. I love to watch the squirrels hide their nuts and the stellars jays come behind them and get them. I could watch that for hours.

    I think I would change the word "sometimes" to the word "frequently," said Fram.
