These birds are Western Grebes, Kaya, not Clark's Grebes. The difference is in the extent of the black cap. In Clark's Grebe the red eye is in white plumage, not black. Clark's Grebe is much the rarer of the two species, but they will sometimes interbreed. In fact Clark's Grebe was formerly considered a pale morph of Western Grebe. Great pictures!!
