I Would Rather Stay With Mama
He/she (on the right) doesn't feel comfortable being with his sibling. It's too far away from Mama.
He/she decided to go to his/her mama.
Mama warmly greets her baby.
It's fun to explore the world when Mama is close.

I had a great time watching and photographing very young Black-Necked stilts.
I guess that at a certain age we all cling to mama....or maybe that was papa since both parents are involved in raising the young of this species.

I prefer the third photograph because it appears the parent and the baby are having a conversation. All the photographs are excellent, Kaya, and your patience to obtain them is evident.

ReplyDeleteBellas fotografías de esos inocentes polluelos dando sus primeros pasos aún bajo la tutela de los padres. Me encantan los reflejos de las aves en el agua.
