It's a Time to Examine the Nest - I.

After working for a while on the building the nest the female Western Grebe decided to examine it.  She carefully mounted on the nest testing how strong and secure it is.

Then she carefully looked around continue checking if the sticks were arranged properly and what else was missing.

 Is something should be added in front of the nest?

And then she laid on her nest to feel how comfortable it is.  The nest isn't big enough yet but soon it will get wider and longer and feel more comfortable.  When time comes the nest will be moved to a different place that is more safe for incubation eggs.
