Sometimes my thoughts drift to the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, and I try to imagine what birds I might encounter there now. Many have already left for warmer places, but the ones that remain seem to be patiently "waiting" for me. Or I just want to believe...

Recently, I went back through my old archives and was amazed at how many boring unremarkable photos I had taken of my favorite birds. And yet, every time I had an opportunity to photograph, I was completely absorbed by them.
Will this enthusiasm ever return?...

Una imagen que exige atención y tiempo pausado para admirarla. Esos pequeños detalles de las plantas bajas enfocados a la perfección es lo primero que me sorprende y hace que mi mirada se abra y alcance a esa vara, que es en realidad, la protagonista de la foto. Parece flotar en un espacio sin gravedad que permite que la libertad de movimientos sea total y absoluta. Es impresionante la definición que has logrado aquí. El bokeh es impresionante dibujando un fondo con densidad y cuerpo que contrasta todo lo demás. Una imagen para enmarcar y colgar en la pared de mi salón o en cualquier exposición.

Of course, this kind of simple, easy photography cannot be compared to bird photography, where continuous shooting is the norm, at the cost of numerous failures. This image of a plant only requires listening to your senses until you feel the need to press the shutter button.
ReplyDeleteUna excelente macro. Esa bella ramita captada con nitidez destaca perfectamente sobre ese fondo bien difuminado para que no distorsione la imagen. Creo que sigues teniendo el mismo entusiasmo que antes solo que enfocado con otro tipo de fotografias. A las pruebas me remito.

Ich glaube, dass du viel zu hart zu dir bist. Deine Bilder haben stets eine ganz besondere Qualität, sind nicht nur darstellend, sondern tief berühren. So wie auch dieses hier und ich bin mir absolut sicher, dass die Vögel auf dich warten...
