Everyone at Bear river has a favorite spot for fishing, perching and resting. Thus, this heron found a little swamp at Bear river for his breakfasts.
Before you start fishing and stand for hours looking for fish it's nice to stretch.
Aha, caught fish! I was sure that he would swallow it immediately but he surprised me.
He decided to walk with fish and I had no idea where he was going.
It seems that this secluded place is better for breakfast.
Back to fishing business.

Thank goodness we have only to go to the cupboard for breakfast. I think we would all lose weight if we had to do it like the heron!
ReplyDeleteFine shots, Kaya !!

Attentive, agile, happy with what he got.
ReplyDeleteImpeccable reflections!
Besos
great photos - i think i mentioned....i want your camera, lol. Such clear photos and you have a good "eye".
ReplyDeleteNice and neat series, Kaya, and it even tells a story ....
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of wading through shallows and "fishing" with archery gear, the primary difference being we chose to clean our fish and fry them before eating them.
