Immature Swallows

Asking for food.

The soft morning light was on my side when I took these pictures of immature swallows. These little ones weren't pretty yet but soon they would be beautiful,  more careful and less trusting.

Well, I have a difficult time identify these little ones.  I checked a list of swallows at Bear river and only mature Cliff swallows were similar to my swallows.

  6. Each photograph shows a bird with an expression of determination. I think you are right about the light, Kaya; it helps to create clear and clean definitions of the feathers. Of the four photos, I prefer the second because it seems to display an aggressive stance.
