Winter is a time for hawks in Northern Utah. For immature hawks it is their first winter and a lot of them will not make it through. That makes me very sad.

Love the poses - sad that some won't make it. I was following Big Bear Eagles and jackie and shadow's fledgling didn't make it last winter She has now laid another egg this winter. Last time I saw it was just one but haven't checked in a few days.
