Male Ring-necked Pheasant at Bear River

This morning was cold and there was frost on the ground. While driving to Bear river I spotted a male Ring-necked Pheasant. He was establishing his territory that he will protect fearlessly. Usually, the pheasants establish their territory in early spring.

Ring-necked Pheasants are permanent residents at Bear river. You can see them all year around.

What a nice shot. Great the colors of the pheasant on the frozen ground.
He looks very alert to you.

    Best regards,

  2. Precioso el color del plumaje del faisán, Kaya, bonita foto con un encuadre muy bien ideado, dejando espacio por delante de este indicando el sentido de su camino.

    Saludos.
