American Bald Eagle on the Bear River MBR - III. Finale

This Bald Eagle saved my trip to the Bear River MBR.  If it weren't for our meeting, I would have returned home without a single photo.

That day was cloudy and gray, the Tundra swans were far from the shore and the Great Blue Herons were hiding somewhere. And only this eagle allowed me to spend some time with him.

After the eagle landed on this log he looked at me intently and sternly, as if to say, why are you following me.

My series of this majestic raptor has come to an end.

We had a snowstorm yesterday, and I probably won't get to the Bear River MBR anytime soon, the roads there are now muddy and impassable. So, I will not meet this eagle anytime soon.

Generally, life is good.
